From 2006 to the present day the production capacity has increased by a factor of 10.5.
The basic product of the plant is the seawater-activated batteries to supply equipment and power plants of both the torpedoes (Russian-adopted USET-80, exported UETT and TE-2) and the acoustic countermeasure systems.
The second product of “Uralelement” is the silver-zinc accumulator batteries of high capac-ity and power to supply submarines.
The third product is the “Beacon”- type batteries to supply navigational equipment.
The forth innovative product is the lithium-ion accumulators and batteries on their basis.
The last 10 years show onrush of the above accumulators all around the world which sub-stitute conventional lead-acid, nickel-cadmium, silver-zinc and other types of accumulators.
During the last 5 years the plant “Uralelement” has produced the lithium-ion accumulators in the context of the Federal Program “Development of the Defence-and-Industrial Complex”.
Technical environment of the state-of-the-art plant “Uralelement” meets the highest world standards.
The plant produces the following lithium-ion accumulators:
- cylindrical accumulators ICR50/320, ICR50/160, IFR50/320 (for torpedo practice batter-ies);
- prismatic accumulators ICP23/72/139, ICP31/133/209, IFP23/72/139, IFP31/133/209 (for communication facilities, to supply fighter equipment);
- polymeric accumulators ICGP5/230/355, ICGP11/215/205, ICGP7.5/135/150 (to supply sea underwater weapon and underwater vehicles of different use).
The plant produces in batch quantities the lithium-ion accumulator batteries 336ICR50/320 ИПЮН.563564.001 ТУ. The battery set is equipped with the “Uralelement”-produced charging unit.
